Terms of Service for Carousel Splitter

Welcome to Carousel Splitter, a CraftMage application available through the Canva platform.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the App. By using Carousel Splitter, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Carousel Splitter, or meet any higher minimum age requirement applicable under Canva’s terms or the laws of your location.

By using the App, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirements and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. License to Use

CraftMage grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Carousel Splitter within the Canva platform for lawful personal, educational, and professional purposes.

This license permits you to use the App’s available features to create, edit, transform, and customize your designs. It does not transfer ownership of the App or its underlying intellectual property to you.

3. Permitted Use and Commercial Rights

You are permitted to use the designs, elements, graphics, and other outputs you create or modify using Carousel Splitter for both personal and commercial purposes.

This includes using your resulting designs in commercial projects, marketing materials, presentations, products, publications, and other lawful business activities.

You retain the rights to your own original content and may commercially use the outputs you create with the App, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any third-party content incorporated into your designs.
  • Your use of Canva elements, stock content, fonts, templates, and other third-party materials must comply with the applicable licenses and Canva’s terms.
  • The App does not grant you ownership of, or additional rights to, third-party materials.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your final designs and their intended use do not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable laws.

CraftMage does not claim ownership of the original content you create or the designs you produce using the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Carousel Splitter responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or misleading activities.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or exploit the App’s underlying code or functionality.
  • Interfere with the App’s operation, security, or availability.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its infrastructure, or related systems.
  • Reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create unauthorized copies of the App.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms or misused the service.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Carousel Splitter, including its source code, functionality, branding, visual identity, and related intellectual property, belongs to CraftMage or its respective licensors.

Except for the limited license granted under these Terms, no ownership rights in the App are transferred to you.

You retain ownership of the original content you bring into the App and the content you create or modify using it, subject to any third-party rights and applicable platform licenses.

Nothing in these Terms gives CraftMage ownership of your designs or grants CraftMage permission to use, sell, or distribute your content.

6. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Carousel Splitter functional, reliable, and useful. However, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Canva feature or platform update.

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue certain features or the App itself when necessary, including to address technical issues, security concerns, or changes to the Canva platform.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CraftMage shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Carousel Splitter.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, or design errors resulting from the use of the App or changes to the Canva platform.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying your designs and outputs before using, publishing, distributing, or selling them.

Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Third-Party Services and Platform Terms

Carousel Splitter is made available through Canva and depends on the Canva platform for certain services and functionality.

Your use of the App is also subject to Canva’s applicable terms, policies, and guidelines, including Canva’s Terms and Policies.

CraftMage is an independent developer and is not responsible for changes, interruptions, or issues arising from Canva’s platform or services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Carousel Splitter if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in activities that may harm the App, CraftMage, or other users.

You may stop using the App at any time.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and any other provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.
