At Craft Mage, we believe in radical software privacy. Mocklyn is built from the ground up as a standalone, offline-first desktop application.
1. Zero File Uploads
Mocklyn runs entirely on your local machine. When you open a PSD template or batch-process graphic files, those files remain exclusively on your local storage drive. None of your graphic designs, photos, or client files are ever transmitted, synced, or uploaded to Craft Mage servers or third parties.
2. Telemetry and Analytics
Mocklyn contains zero invasive telemetry or tracking spyware. We do not log what files you open, how many batches you export, or the names of your PSD files.
3. Licensing and Free Trial Verification
When activating a license or beginning your 7-day free trial:
- The app sends a cryptographically signed request containing your license key or trial activation token to
api.craftmage.comalong with a non-reversible machine fingerprint hash. - This fingerprint ensures compliance with our two-device activation limit and prevents duplicate trial exploitation.
- No personal identifying information beyond your account email address (provided during checkout with Creem or during trial sign-up) is retained.
4. Payments
Purchases and subscription renewals are handled by Creem (Merchant of Record). Craft Mage never handles or stores your credit card details or billing credentials.
